With our secret project looming around the corner, I wanted to get some practice with background work. This wasn't as fail as I remember it being, but in terms of what I can do now with the tools I have in SAI, this is pretty flat. But as one of my first attempts at painting a natural landscape? It's not bad

Oh man, I wanted to finish this picture so badly. Ironically, the only reason it's not finished is because at the time, I had no practice or confidence in drawing backgrounds. Now I do, and could very easily finish this, but I would need to redraw both of them because they're so ooooold and the coloring so shitty XD

It took me a long-ass time to listen to more Jonathan Coulton than "Skullcrusher Mountain". So one entire discography later, I perused all the songs and found which ones I liked, and which ones I didn't. "Dance, Soterios Johnson Dance" stood out as one of my favorites for musical nerd reasons that aren't worth explaining - but now, every time I hear it? It makes me feel like I can paint ANYTHING. It inspired me to paint this. And continues to inspire me to work harder. So thanks, JoCo. ^^

While =AlexisRoyce, *ChibiSilverWings, ~stkbayfield, and an offline friend Ryan were "enjoying" awful foods over livestream on New Years, I kept myself from puking by working on this. Again, my lack of confidence in backgrounds at the time left this unfinished, despite the fact I REALLY like how Charlotte turned out. I ended up turning her face into an icon for her Twitter account that then went pretty much unused, but at least it was out there?

A sketch I started for ~stkbayfield that turned into more than just a sketch, and regretfully remains unfinished because it beckoned me to put more effort than I really wanted to spend on something fluffy.

I started this one only a few months ago, and I have every intent to finish it when I have the time to sit and work on it. Rush hold a special place in my heart, and I don't want to just speed through it and have it look half-assed.

WHAT FANART FROM TRICIA?!

yes, and this is another picture I plan on finishing. I watched Silent Hill: Revelation and actually enjoyed the hell out of it, ignoring the BAWWW of the fanbase and critics alike. I was amused by Pyramid Head's role and the way he interacted with Heather. It reminded me very much of Persona.

So Pyramid Head became Heather's persona.

Because why the fuck not?

I plan on redrawing/coloring Heather because now I actually know wtf I am doing with Paint Tool SAI. And this will be finished in the near-ish future~
